LabTest provides DER communication interface developers and power electronics engineers the ability to validate the operations of DER products to a range of interoperability and interconnection standards.

LabTest Features¶

There are two licensing options for DERSec LabTest that expand the capabilities present in the SunSpec Dashboard.

DERSec LabTest Plus enables software developers and test engineers to validate the conformance of SunSpec Modbus communication interfaces to the SunSpec Modbus for IEEE 1547 standard.

DERSec LabTest Pro enables system test engineers to validate the electrical and interoperability functions of Distributed Energy Resource devices for conformance to the IEEE 1547 standard.
