Thomas Tansy is CEO of DER Security Corp and a visionary leader. Thomas is also Chairman of the SunSpec Alliance (www.sunspec.org) and leads the distributed energy industry’s efforts to establish data and communication standards that enable seamless integration of EVs, solar, and energy storage into the grid. He previously founded companies that were later acquired by Microsoft, Cisco, and F5 Corporation.
Jay Johnson
CTO
Jay Johnson is the Chief Technology Officer at DER Security Corp and leads the development of the company’s cybersecurity protection, detection, and response technologies for EV chargers, renewable energy installations, and energy storage systems. Previously, Jay was a Distinguished Member of Technical Staff at Sandia National Laboratories.
Venkat Prabhala
CFO
Venkat Prabhala is an experienced financial executive with extensive experience in technology ventures, having helped companies acquire venture capital financint, go public and merge with companies including Cisco and F5. Venkat is also a founder of the PSK Research foundation.

Software Engineer: Develop, test, & document code for the assigned projects. Participate in architecture & design discussions. Research technology advances of IEEE 1547 & IEEE 2030.5 in the data communication protocol areas as well as secure grid connection software layer using RESTful web services, Python, AWS, Git, JavaScript, Linux, HTTP, XML, JSON.
